Create a propaganda poster advertising a product and a political candidate. Select two different propaganda techniques. Create a propaganda poster based on a current issue of your choice. Your poster should evoke emotional response in its viewers. The less you write, the better. A propaganda poster should often get the meaning across to the observer before he or she gets a chance to read what it says. To make sure we get the true meaning of your poster, you will also be presenting these to the class. Your poster should include the following things: Poster (20 points) with design/artwork created by you. You can include images printed out from the computer and attached to your poster. Write a Paragraph (20 points) on the back of poster that explains what the image(s) represent and what you want the piece of propaganda to do for your product/cause. You must also identify specifically which type of propaganda you used. Presentation (10 points): You will be presenting this in class for 1 minute. In your presentation, you need to tell us what the message is, who the intended audience is, and what type of propaganda it is. Explain why you chose that type of propaganda and explain the design of your poster. This project is intended to be solely your idea. I am looking for creativity and originality. DO NOT copy off other propaganda posters or any other ideas from the internet.
